Education Careers

This two-year program is designed to prepare students for a career in education. Students learn about traditional teaching careers in elementary, secondary, and post-secondary schools, as well as explore pathways for special education, school psychologists, school counselors, school leadership, and more. Students learn about curriculum development, educational technology, educational theory, classroom management, and more. As part of the program, students will be immersed in experiences within the teaching profession. This is an excellent option for a student looking to hone in on the teaching specialty they wish to explore in their post-secondary education. View the program flyer.

Students can also apply to attend New Visions: Pathways in Education, a seniors-only, honors-level program located at UAlbany. If accepted, students would attend this program in place of their CTE program in Hudson during their senior year.
