Dear New Students and Families,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As we gear up for the upcoming school year, I am thrilled to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each and every one of you as the new members of our CTE family at Donald R. Kline. It is with immense pleasure that we open our doors to the juniors, and we eagerly anticipate the journey we will embark on together.
This year marks my second year as the Principal at Donald R. Kline Technical School, and I am proud to say that it is my fourth year at Questar. My journey in education has been a fulfilling one, spanning over 23 years. Each step of this journey has strengthened my passion for education and my commitment to nurturing the talents of every student who walks through our doors.
At Donald R. Kline Technical School, we strive to foster an environment that goes beyond academic excellence. We are dedicated to creating well-rounded individuals, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and character traits necessary for success in their chosen careers and in life.
The first day of classes is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6th, and we are eagerly awaiting your arrival. Our exceptional team of teachers and staff will provide the perfect platform for your child’s growth and development. Our focus on practical, hands-on learning ensures that students not only understand theories but also apply them to real-world situations.
As we embark on this new academic year together, my hope is to build a strong partnership with every student and their parents. I believe that education is a collaborative effort, and we value your involvement in your child’s journey of learning and growth.
Forms (Paper) Once school starts, your child will bring home three forms, to be completed/returned:
- Student Profile, sign and return whether there are changes or not;
- Student Health Form, must be returned before student can participate in the shop/lab;
- Computer User Agreement, signed by both parent and student.
I look forward to working with you and your child throughout this new school year. If you have any questions now, or during the school year, please call the office at 518-828-4157.
Once again, I extend a warm welcome to all our new students and their parents. Let us embark on this journey with enthusiasm, determination, and a shared vision of success. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead! Sincerely,
Melissa Fox , Principal
