Administrative Management and Planning Service

Service Description

Questar III’s Administrative Management and Planning Service has been specifically designed to provide accounting, planning, and risk management expertise. We will help develop and analyze data and information in such areas as personnel, finance, facility utilization, or management.

Many schools lack the human resources to ensure that controls are in place and operating effectively. Questar III offers its valuable knowledge and expertise to help your organization create a system of internal controls that will help safeguard school assets and prevent inappropriate use of the school’s resources. We provide independent assurance on critical business processes. We strive to be strategic business advisors by focusing on continuous business improvement and assist you in achieving your business objectives.

Some of the areas that our experience has shown us may be valuable to districts include: special education STAC reporting and billing, Medicaid compliance, healthcare, food service, capital projects, claim payment, certification of payroll, review of bank reconciliations and treasurer’s reports, payroll observations, review disbursement processes, and fixed asset sampling to name a few. We stay informed of regulatory changes that impact schools.

Experienced and Knowledgeable Service Team

Our team has been exclusively auditing school districts since the inception of the 2005 Fiscal Accountability Legislation, and its core members have more than 50 years combined government and finance experience. They are CPAs (certified public accountants), CIAs (certified internal auditors) and CFE’s (certified fraud examiners). We have well-developed relationships with experts in other areas to call upon as needed to ensure that the expectations of your organization are addressed. Questar III’s dedicated service team understands the demands and time constraints of your schedule, and we are committed to providing high-quality service delivered in a timely manner.

This type of service involves providing the school with ongoing support. We are eager to work with your school district in both the short-term and long-term. We will provide you with a detailed assessment report with recommendations on best practices for the school to use as a tool to develop an ongoing process for improvements.
