Dear CTE Families:

Welcome to the Robert H. Gibson Technical School (“RHGTS”). I am pleased that you will be with us for 2023-2024 school year!

I am honored to be your child’s principal. This will be the start of my 19th year as principal. Our goal at the RHGTS is to work together to provide your child with a rich learning environment. My hope is that all students feel welcomed and feel like they belong to the larger CTE learning community. Our school environment is positive, safe, and caring, as well as a fun place to learn.  The first day of class will begin for all students on Wednesday, September 6th.

Our focus continues to center around the safety of our students and staff, while maintaining a strong emphasis on learning and achievement for our students. Highlights from our last school year include the following:

  • 100% graduation rate for our senior class.
  • 62 students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).
  • 13 seniors received NTHS two-year honors.
  • 688 Honor Roll certificates earned by both the junior and senior classes.
