The New York State Department of Education is conducting a Common Core Survey to examine each standard within the framework.
In an effort to inform school communities in Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene counties Questar III is hosting an informational forum to review the contents of the survey on November 12 from 5-6 p.m. at 10 Empire State Blvd. in Castleton.
The public, including parents, students, school staff and others, are invited to attend. Questar III District Superintendent Gladys Cruz and Deputy Superintendent Matt Sloane will facilitate the program.
