Students competed in several SkillsUSA categories, including Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, Nursing Assistant, HVAC and Construction.

On March 18, 2024, over 80 Questar III BOCES Career and Technical Education students from Donald R. Kline Technical School and Robert H. Gibson Technical School joined another 300+ students from 10 different New York technical schools, covering an area from Plattsburgh to Hudson, for the SkillsUSA New York State Area III competition. Students competed and showcased the technical skills specific to their program, along with career readiness and leadership skills.

Questar III BOCES students earned a total of 26 medals for 24 competitions at the regional event. Students will now prepare for the upcoming New York State competition in April. Congratulations to our students on a job well done!
