The Questar III Board of Education appointed Dr. James Niedermeier as Questar III’s new associate superintendent of curriculum, instruction, and accountability at its June 8th meeting. He will begin on September 7, 2023.
“Questar III is a great organization filled with caring and innovative staff members who put kids first. I am excited to be working with them in this new role,” said Niedermeier.
Dr. Niedermeier is currently the superintendent of Duanesburg CSD in Schenectady County. Prior to this, he was the principal and chief academic officer of Tech Valley High School, a joint initiative of Questar III and Capital Region BOCES.
“We look forward to Jim returning to our BOCES. He did a wonderful at Tech Valley High School, and I have no doubt that he will serve this organization and our students well in his new position,” said Questar III District Superintendent Dr. Gladys I. Cruz.
In his new role Niedermeier will provide senior leadership to ensure that Questar III educational programs are aligned to state standards and that its instructional practices yield the best student outcomes possible.
