At a special meeting on October 21, the Questar III Board of Education made two appointments to the BOCES administrative staff. The Board appointed Denise Fernandez-Pallozzi as Director of Career & Technical Education effective November 25. Denise will oversee our Career & Technical Education, Career Studies, and New Visions programs. Denise comes to us with a diverse background having worked in BOCES, districts and several private companies.
The Board also appointed Carmen Diaz to the position of Interim Director of the Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (RBERN) where she previously served as a resource specialist. In her new role, Carmen will continue to support districts and schools with English Language Learners in the RBERN jurisdiction which covers 8 BOCES.
