Students at the college fair learned about program options, enrollment requirements, and school culture

This month, Career & Technical Education students at Columbia-Greene Educational Center in Hudson and Rensselaer Educational Center in Troy met with college representatives to explore their options after high school graduation.

Between both centers, 20 colleges and the United States Military had admissions staff available to discuss programs, opportunities and enrollment requirements with students. The annual event helps students gain valuable insight into a number of college and career pathways in one place.

Many college representatives in attendance said they had positive interactions with students who were engaged and excited to learn about the possibilities awaiting them in college.

While some students already have a plan in place for after the graduate, the college fair helped inform options to form a backup plan or simply learn about opportunities they might not otherwise have known about.

Thank you to all the participating colleges in this year’s college fair!
