Late last evening, Questar III administrators and law enforcement authorities responded to an allegation of violence at one of our centers.
As soon as we were made aware of this information from one of our component districts, Questar III, in collaboration with school district officials, immediately contacted authorities, who launched an investigation into the matter.
While the investigation is still ongoing at this time, we have been told that there is no credible threat to any Questar III schools. Authorities describe the situation as a “miscommunication.”
We are grateful for the outreach from our school district and the cooperation of law enforcement. We also wish to remind everyone that all allegations or threats of violence against our students and staff will be taken seriously and investigated fully.
This is an opportune time to remind your child about the importance of speaking with an adult if they need help or if they see/hear anything out of the ordinary. As always, school and district personnel are available to answer any questions.
