Beginning in October, Questar III will offer a new program for adults in Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene Counties. Medicare 101 is designed to educate individuals currently on Medicare or who will turn 65 in the next few years and become eligible for Medicare. The program will cover how and when  to enroll, when you can make changes and the various insurance options available to you. The course will be offered at no cost to participants

Independent Insurance Agent Jim Farnham will review and compare Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, as well as explore and evaluate Original Medicare, Medicare Supplement Insurance, Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans. The curriculum will simplify the choices an individual needs to make while helping to better inform and explain what Medicare means for you.

The course will be offered in two locations:

TROY: Wednesday, October 4 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rensselaer Educational Center.

HUDSON: Thursday, November 16 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Columbia-Greene Educational Center.
