Local students interested in high school programs available through Questar III BOCES are invited to upcoming open houses.

Questar III’s Rensselaer Educational Center in Troy welcomes 9th and 10th grade students and their parents/guardians to its annual open house from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18. Questar III’s Columbia-Greene Educational Center in Hudson welcomes 9th and 10th grade students and their parents/guardians to its annual open house from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1.

The January 18 and February 1 open houses give parents and students the opportunity to learn about hands-on programs available to high school students in Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene counties. This includes Career and Technical Education, New Visions, Career Studies and Alternative Education. For more information on programs, please click here.

Tech Valley High School, a joint venture of Questar III and Capital Region BOCES, is also holding information sessions for interested students. Attendance at one of these sessions by the prospective student and a parent is mandatory for those who plan to apply for the 2012-13 school year.
