The DOB Transparency Report for the 2021-22 budget information was due September 3, 2021. As of this morning, there were 91 districts that had not submitted their report to DOB. (In addition, there are 14 districts that have not gotten their 2020-21 report approved.)
Please note that a district can’t be paid any more State Aid in 2021-22 than they received in 2020-21, without the 2021-22 Transparency Report approved. Those with outstanding reports from 2020-21 generally have State Aid being withheld at this time. Based on how this was handled in the prior year, if the 2020-21 report is completed at this time, the State Aid being held will be paid out in June 2022.
