The State Aid Unit has released the 180-day calendar and waiver forms. They are available in SAMS under Official Data. Both are due by November 15th. Guidance is posted on the State Aid Unit’s website. In addition, a memo describing the forms was emailed to all Superintendents and State Aid Designees.
According to the guidance, the Superintendent will need to open the “180 Days Calendar Certification” and complete the questions provided but certification can only be completed once the “180 Days Calendar Waiver Form” and “180 Days Calendar Form” are in the “Ready” state.
SED will provide two webinar sessions to assist school districts. They will be held on Thursday, October 10th at 9:30 AM and again at 3:30 PM. Individuals will need to send their name and email address to 180days@nysed.gov to register.
