Reading Teacher Courtney Galuski presents a reading award at the 2019 Awards/Moving Up Ceremony at GWS
On Friday June 21, George Washington School held its annual awards and moving up ceremony. Students were recognized by their teachers for the academic, social, and behavioral growth through the year, and school staff presented awards for reading, speech, OT/PT, PE, PBIS, Student Council. Several students also earned the Principal’s award for outstanding growth and achievement during the year.
Students moving on to another program in September were also recognized with a special certificate. After the awards, students, staff and guests watched a slideshow of school events, activities and projects during the year.
