ESSA Draft Guidance
NYSED has released Preliminary Draft Guidance for the ESSA Financial Transparency requirement, available here: http://www.nysed.gov/essa/financial-transparency. They are looking for feedback on the guidance and are giving districts until July 17th to comment.
Grants and Grant Allocations
School districts and BOCES are reminded that as the school year comes to a close, they should review Allocation Reports on SED’s Grants Finance website to ensure that maximum funds are being utilized for each program. Reports are updated nightly and can be accessed at http://www.oms.nysed.gov/cafe/reports/.
