SEMI High Tech U an action-packed week for more than three dozen teens
More than three dozen area teens are mixing semiconductors, nanotechnology and energy with fun this week at SEMI High Tech U, an exciting summer day camp offered by the Tech Valley Career Pathways Consortium in partnership with GlobalFoundries and Center for Economic Growth. Students are learning on-site at Hudson Valley Community College’s TEC-SMART campus in Malta, College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany, and Schenectady County Community College.
Career Pathways Consortium adopts new name
A federally funded consortium of local colleges and BOCES will continue its efforts to build career pathways in the emerging technologies under a new name.
