On May 6. 2025, more than forty Questar III BOCES Career and Technical Education students participated in the SkillsUSA National Signing Day, a nationwide celebration of the next generation of skilled professionals and the skilled career paths that strengthen our country.
These seniors were joined by Questar III staff, family, friends, and future employers as they signed a letter of intent to pursue skilled career paths following graduation. These students have already secured post-graduation employment or have committed to continuing their education in their desired field.
“The SkillsUSA National Signing Day is a powerful reminder that success takes many forms,” shared Questar III BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Glady Cruz. “We are proud of our students who have committed to a career in the skilled trades, filling essential roles within our communities. This event is more than a signing – it’s a celebration of their hard work, dedication, and the bright futures they’re bringing.”
Congratulations to our students!

As indicated with an asterisk (*), eight students are continuing employment with the business they were matched with last spring in our Youth Apprenticeship Program. These students spent 200+ hours working with these businesses last summer, gaining paid, on-the-job training in their respective fields. Several other students were hired following positive experiences while job shadowing, interning, or through classroom visits or industry tours with business partners.
