Districts can choose between personalized support from a substitute calling clerk—who handles absence notifications and coordinates substitute placements—or the AESOP automated system, a 24/7 online and phone-based platform that streamlines absence reporting and substitute scheduling. Both options include responsive support to ensure smooth, efficient staffing operations.

Questar III offers two distinct substitute calling services to meet school districts' staffing needs:
  1. Substitute Calling Clerk Service
    • Retrieves staff absence messages
    • Contacts substitutes using district-provided call lists
    • Ensures timely staff coverage
  2. AESOP Automated Substitute System
    • Advanced, 24/7 automated absence management platform
    • Online and phone-based absence reporting
    • Automated substitute placement
    • Help desk support (Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)
