Students Earn Seventeen Medals at 2025 SkillsUSA Regional Competition

Congratulations to the Questar III BOCES students from Donald R. Kline Technical School and Robert H. Gibson Technical School for placing in the SkillsUSA Area III competition!

On March 19, 2025, nearly 100 Questar III BOCES Career and Technical Education students joined another 300+ students from 10 different schools across the state, from Plattsburgh to Hudson, to compete in the SkillsUSA New York State Area III competition. Students from both Donald R. Kline Technical School and Robert H. Gibson Technical School competed and showcased the technical skills related to their program, along with career readiness and leadership skills.

In total, Questar III BOCES students earned 17 medals at the event, sweeping both the Carpentry and HVAC competitions. Congratulations to all of our students on an excellent competition!

Additionally, Robert H. Gibson Technical School student, Mia Robles, was named the SkillsUSA Area III Vice President. Congratulations, Mia!
