Bullet Aid: Grant-in-Aid to support General Expenses

Certain schools may have received a payment from the State Treasury on December 4, 2024. This payment was coded 6315 BULT GRT and is an award of Bullet Aid.  Not all districts receive this funding. Those that did also should have had their superintendent receive a letter regarding the payment. This grant-in-aid is an additional apportionment in support of the general expenditures of the district and should be recorded as Other State Aid, Revenue Account Code A3289. This grant-in-aid is to be appropriated by the board of education pursuant to Subdivision 2 of Section 1718 of the Education Law as amended by Chapter 82 of the Laws of 1995 for the use(s) specified in the letter, including funds specified as additional aid in support of general expenses.
