Through programs like Model Schools, School Improvement, and Extended School Year (ESY), we provide professional learning, leadership coaching, and direct student services to enhance educational outcomes. District Model Schools Services and Codes

Data Analysis Service (COSER 523.010)

School Improvement Data Analysts assist component school districts with data coordination tasks, analysis, and interpretation to support student and overall school improvement initiatives.

Leadership Coaching (COSER 523.010)

Experienced administrators offer ongoing coaching support to district and building administrators.

Extended School Year (ESY) Services (COSER 523.010)

The Questar III BOCES Extended School Year program serves students with disabilities who need a 12-month structured learning environment to prevent significant regression. It operates as a full-time day program for 30 days, serving students ages three to 21.

School Improvement (COSER 522.010)

Questar III's School Improvement Service supports districts by seeking funding opportunities, providing embedded professional development in instructional technology, offering data analysis services, delivering leadership coaching, and operating an Extended School Year program for students with disabilities. These initiatives aim to enhance educational outcomes and support district growth.

Model Schools (COSER 519.070)

The Questar III Model Schools program is designed to support districts in integrating instructional technology and innovative teaching practices to improve student learning. Through customized professional development, hands-on classroom support, and access to cutting-edge tools, Model Schools helps educators effectively implement New York state’s learning standards and digital fluency goals. Our services include in-person and virtual training, push-in support for technology-enhanced instruction, and engaging enrichment programs for students using tools such as robotics, artificial intelligence, coding platforms, and virtual reality. By partnering with Model Schools, districts gain a collaborative ally in building staff capacity, enhancing instructional practices, and preparing students with the digital skills they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

Embedded Professional Development (COSER 519.070)

Model Schools Specialists assist districts with embedded professional development in instructional technology, helping to improve student learning through technology use.
