SED posted a message that they have been in the process of a rebuild to the existing SAMS system. This will be released in phases, divided by business area within the new SAMS application. The first area that they are concentrating their focus on is Building Projects. It was developed with user feedback and will provide users with a centralized place to enter, view, and manage their building project information.
Changes with the Building Project Area Launch:

Fully electronic document submission- paper and email submission of State Aid forms will be replaced with direct entry into the SAMS system rebuild

Direct access to detailed building project information, including cost allowance calculations
The Building Projects area is scheduled to launch this summer. Additional business areas will be introduced in subsequent phases as the SAMS rebuild is developed.
