This morning we will host our Winter Workshop virtually on February 24th from 9 am to 11 am. There is no pre-registration required to attend the session, and as always there is no fee to participate. Topics: Governor’s Budget Analysis: Understanding projections, including updated projections for Foundation Aid based on the 2/15/26 database, proposed changes to the Universal Prekindergarten program and how it is budgeted in the Executive Budget as well as other changes the Governor has proposed that may affect your district for renewable energy projects.
In addition, we will discuss why so many districts are seeing their aid ratios changing for 26-27 and what id driving those changes. We will also discuss how charter school students are funded, how aid is generated, and what your district needs to consider as you finalize your 26-27 budgets. We will conclude with Spring Reminders.
