On Friday, August 22, 2025, Questar III BOCES hosted its second annual charity golf tournament to benefit the organization’s Education Foundation. Held at the Burden Lake Country Club in Averill Park, NY, the event was attended by more than 80 golfers and made possible through the sponsorship of thirty local businesses and donations from over a dozen more.
Questar III and HVCC STEM High School competed in Odyssey of the Mind for the very first time and advanced to the World Finals.
Money raised at the event provides funding for student enrichment opportunities and students in need through the Questar III BOCES Education Foundation. Recent examples of how funding was used include supporting students in the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals and SkillsUSA National Conference. Principals are invited to request funding through the Education Foundation’s Mini-Grant Application. The Fundraising Committee is proud to announce that $21,297 was raised at this year’s event, continuing to provide students with enriching opportunities and supporting those in need.
