CPI for 2025-26 Transportation Contract Extensions 

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has posted the May 2025 consumer price index change for the New York, N.Y. – Northern N.J. area, based upon the index for all urban consumers (CPI-U).  This percentage change in the CPI (3.4%) is the maximum to be used for the extension of student transportation contracts for the 2025-26 school year.
