Dr. Kerry Houlihan Named Chief School Improvement Officer

Questar III BOCES is pleased to announce Dr. Kerry Houlihan as the new Chief School Improvement Officer.

 

“I’m excited to join Questar III BOCES, an organization that prioritizes innovation and student-centered approaches,” shared Dr. Kerry Houlihan. “I look forward to collaborating closely with our component districts as we strive to shape the future of education.”

 

Dr. Houlihan joins Questar III BOCES following a successful tenure as Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Services and High School Principal at Coxsackie-Athens Central School District. For over a decade, she oversaw APPR, grant writing, professional development, and curriculum for the district.

 

“Dr. Houlihan will step into a crucial, innovative position that supports and uplifts educators to impact students across our BOCES,” said Questar III BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Gladys Cruz. “Her leadership and expertise will play a pivotal role with stakeholders in the region, and we look forward to her contributions as we work to transform our systems to make a lasting impact on our education community.”

 

Dr. Houlihan’s prior experience includes teaching and counseling positions in Connecticut before beginning an administrative career in Central New York.
