Per EL §3625 every transportation contract must be filed with SED within 120 days of the commencement of service. No transportation expense is allowed for a period greater than 120 days prior to the filing of any contract for the student transportation with SED.
All transportation contracts (excluding 4408 contracts) must be claimed on Schedule J to receive transportation aid. Contracts not approved by the Pupil Transportation Unit cannot be aided.
