School Level Finance Survey (SLFS)
The new School Level Finance Survey Reporting – which replaces ESSA Reporting, is due 12/31/2024 for all districts but the Big 5.
In the recorded October Coffee Talk webinar, we provided an overview of the new federal reporting requirement and discussed the new excel template that was developed to summarize your costs for 2023-24 into the required categories of the SLFS report.

If you need a password to our template, please email: stateaidplanning@questar.org and we will provide you with your district’s specific password. If you haven’t started the template yet, please use version 1.4 for the best results. If you have issues with version 1.3, please reach out for assistance.
When entering your information in IDEx, please remember to enter your school building information first and submit it before starting the district wide reporting. To get to a building level screen, type the name of one of your buildings in the box at the top on the left. Click on the Data Exchange button to return to the main district wide screen.
