Social Workers

Anne Goff

Hello, Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2020/21 school year. My name is Anne Goff. I am the social worker for the 5th and 6th grade students at George Washington. I have worked with many of you last year and look forward to working with your children again as well as my new students. For remote students I will be contacting parents/guardians during the first week of school to set up social work sessions via zoom. It is expected that students will be available for a weekly 30 minute session. I am excited for the school year to begin. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

In the event that George Washington School closes due to COVID (even if only a day), students are expected to continue their daily schedule of classes. This includes social work sessions. On the Intermediate Google Classroom page under the classwork tab “ZOOM CODES,” I have included material titled “Emergency Closing Social Work Session Zoom Code” with the link and password to join me for each student’s social work session. I have also included the schedule of each student’s session time. We will be practicing how to access this code during school time so that all students are prepared in the event of an emergency closing. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at anne.goff@questar.org or by calling (518) 283-5752.

Thank you for your continued support!

All the best,
Mrs. Goff
