Asset Management & Valuation Services

Harry C.L. (HARRY) HADJIOANNOU, CPA has more than 25 years of BOCES and school district experience; he is currently the Deputy Superintendent (Business) at Questar III. Mr. Hadjioannou is familiar with accounting and auditing regulations that impact school districts. He has extensive union negotiation experience and has a Cornell University Labor Management Certificate in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Education Administration and Policy Studies.

Mr. Hadjioannou has been a licensed CPA in New York since March 28, 1989. His license number is 060768.

 

KENNETH R. ZIOBROWSKI, CIA, CFE has more than 10 years of BOCES and school district experience; he is currently the Director of Central Business Office (CBO) & Financial Services at Questar III. Mr. Ziobrowski serves as the program manager of Internal Audit, CBO, Fixed Asset Inventory, GASB 45/75, and Claims Auditing services. He has extensive experience with school district auditing and accounting as well as the mandates and regulations that affect New York State school districts. Mr. Ziobrowski has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Siena College. Additionally, he is a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner.

 

HELENA MAGUFFIN, Asset Management Team Leader, has been an employee of Questar III’s Financial Services Department for the last six years.  Ms. Maguffin has worked on 50 Physical Inventories and hundreds of  Re-Inventories in that time. Ms. Maguffin performs an annual re-inventory each year for each of our participating districts.  At that time, there is a reconciliation of the district’s perpetual inventory to the physical assets in all the district’s buildings.  She also assists with streamlining the inventory tagging process.  Ms. Maguffin has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Siena College. Before joining the team at Questar III BOCES, she was with Target for over five years where she was as an Executive Team Leader of Logistics.

 

EVAN MICHAEL, Asset Management Technician, has been with QUESTAR III BOCES for more than two years. He has completed 14Full Physical Inventories, and over 30 Re-Inventories.  He is responsible for performing annual re-inventories each year for out participating districts. Mr. Michael has an Associate’s degree in Business Management from Hudson Valley Community College. 

 

MELISSA GANGEMI, Asset Management Technician, has been with QUESTAR III BOCES for more than a year. Already she has worked on 10 Full Physical Inventories and over 20 Re-Inventories.  She is responsible for performing annual re-inventories each year for our participating districts.  Ms. Gangemi has a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.

 

TYLER LENSETH, Asset Management Technician, is new to the QUESTAR III BOCES Fixed Asset Team. Already he has worked on 5 Full Physical Inventories and 10 Re-Inventories.  He is responsible for performing annual re-inventories each year for our participating districts.  Mr. Lenseth has more than 10 years of customer services experience.
