Career Academy at CGEC – 6:1:2

Students in grades 11 and 12 working towards a Regents Diploma have the opportunity to attend this program at the Columbia-Greene Educational Center in Hudson. These students spend half of their day taking academic classes and the other half of the day in a CTE or Career Studies program. Students also have the opportunity to work towards a CDOS credential by participating in the career options available at the educational center.

Generally, students in this program have social emotional needs that are not being met in district-based program and require the support of a smaller setting. Social work support and crisis intervention support are available in this program.
