Cosmetology

Cosmetology is a two-year, 1,000 hour accredited New York State Licensing Program committed to preparing students for current and emerging careers in the salon industry.  Students are trained in all the basic fundamentals of salon services through theory and hands-on training for complete understanding of the beauty and spa industry.  Students will learn the academic and hands-on skills necessary to pass the New York State Licensing Exam and to become a successful hairstylist in the field of cosmetology.  Upon completion of the 1,000 hours, students will be eligible to apply for a New York State Licensing exam which will allow them to practice in a salon, day spa, and fashion shows or as a product representative or sales consultant in the State of New York.
