Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)

Questar III’s 150-hour Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program prepares students for a nursing career as Certified Nurse Aide. Students learn through classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory and clinical work in home-care settings and long term care facilities to provide hands-on quality care for patients while working under the supervision of a licensed professional. Upon successful program completion, students will be eligible to sit for the Nurse Aide Certification Examination. Passing this exam allows the student to practice as a CNA in New York State. Prospective students must achieve qualifying scores of an eighth (8th) grade reading level and a sixth (6th) grade math level on the entrance exam.

Individuals who pass the exam receive the application packet. Once all required documents are received, the applicant will be contacted to schedule an interview. A decision of acceptance is based upon all application criteria.
