Course Description

Whether you’re a beginner looking to kickstart your culinary career or a seasoned enthusiast seeking to refine your expertise, this course offers a hands-on approach to the exciting world of culinary arts. This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental principles and techniques of professional culinary arts. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical experience, students will develop foundational skills in cooking, food safety, kitchen organization, and menu planning. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence and competence to prepare a variety of dishes and essential knowledge of the culinary profession. Successful students will earn a ServSafe Manager Certificate. Students will be provided with a ServSafe textbook.
