Questar III BOCES is pleased to announce that Kathleen Nickerson will join the organization as the new principal at Donald R. Kline Technical School in Hudson, NY.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Questar III BOCES team,” shared Kathleen Nickerson. “I look forward to collaborating closely with our staff and business partners to provide an enriching educational experience for our students.”
Nickerson comes to us most recently from Capital Region BOCES where she served as their Career and Technical Education (CTE) Assistant Principal. Alongside the traditional duties of an assistant principal, Nickerson contributed to staff development and training, connected with business partners, and promoted CTE programs to component school districts.
“We’re excited to welcome Kathleen to our team,” said Dr. Gladys Cruz, Questar III BOCES District Superintendent. “Her passion for career and technical education and proven leadership skills will help us continue preparing our students for their future. I’m eager to see how her leadership will inspire growth and innovation within our school and programs.”
Previously, Nickerson worked at Schenectady City School District as their Assistant Director of Educational Equity and Instructional Support and Fine Arts Supervisor. Nickerson began her career at Wells Central School District as a Music and Reading Teacher.
