On April 28, career and technical education (CTE) students from Columbia-Greene Educational Center and Rensselaer Educational Center attended the SkillsUSA NYS competition at the Empire Expo Center in Syracuse.
Each trade was represented in the competition, with contests in automotive repair, culinary arts and cosmetology, among others. The annual competition tests job-related and technical skills and is judged by industry professionals.
