Last evening, our component school districts’ boards of education approved Questar III’s proposed $6.9 million administrative budget for the 2022-23 school year.
This budget – which is the only portion of the BOCES budget that districts vote on each year – provides for a variety of operational and support activities of the BOCES as well as services to local districts. School districts will finalize program and service purchasing for next year on May 2. After that time, the organization will adjust all budgets based on requests.
School boards also elected four members to the Questar III Board of Education. This includes two incumbents (Nadine Gazzola and Ed Brooks) and two newly nominated candidates (David Finch and Melony Spock).
Questar III thanks current board members Lynn Clum and Jennifer Haggerty for their service. They will leave the board on June 30 after deciding not to run for reelection.
