Veterans Luncheon

Veterans Charles Orlando (U.S. Army, 1954-1963) and Cornelius Rogers (Air Force, 1969-1975) visit with SkillsUSA Vice President Billy Demarest, a senior in Questar III’s Automotive Technologies program, in 2010.

The staff and students at Questar III’s Columbia-Greene Educational Center will be providing boxed lunches to area veterans as part of its annual Veterans Day celebration.

This year, Questar III is once again providing complimentary boxed lunches to celebrate and honor our local veterans for their service to our country on November 4. Due to COVID-19, the organization is unable to host an in-person event.

Please RSVP to Columbia-Greene Educational Center at 518-828-4157 by November 1. Pick-up will be scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on November 4 at 131 Union Turnpike (Route 66) in Hudson.

The boxed luncheon includes slice fresh turkey with homemade stuffing on a croissant, mayonnaise and cranberry sauce on the side, coleslaw salad, apple, and lemon cookie bar.

“It is a privilege for us to honor local veterans and for our students to use their culinary skills to thank these men and women for their service to our country,” said Heather Lansing, Interim Principal of the Columbia-Greene Educational Center.
