Ed. Law §2053 requires that school districts and BOCES file a report specifying: (a) all lawyers who provide legal services to such district or board; (b) whether such district or board hired such lawyers as employees; and (c) all remuneration and compensation paid for legal services. The survey for this reporting requirement can be completed online using the SED Monitoring and Vendor Reporting System.
