Questar III will hold a reopening parent forum via ZOOM videoconference on Wednesday, July 29 at 6:00 p.m. Co-facilitated by Chief Academic Officer Anthony Taibi and Director of Special Education Shauna Maynard, the meeting will allow parents to share their thoughts and concerns regarding the reopening of schools in September.
District Superintendent Dr. Gladys I. Cruz and Director of Career & Technical Education Denise Fernandez-Pallozzi will also be in attendance.
Taibi says it’s important to engage parents in the reopening discussion because of the unknowns around bringing students back to school
“We know there is a lot still undecided at this point, but we want to make sure our students’ parents are involved in our reopening planning. Our goal is always to put our students first, and working together with our parents is the best way to ensure our students’ needs are met and that families are comfortable with whatever school may look like in September. We are planning to be 100 percent back in program in September if the Governor allows it, and maintaining open communication with families is the best way to ensure our students are successful.”
