Ms. Brevi (Grades 9-10)
The 9th graders have been working on setting up and solving proportions in Algebra 1A. In Living Environment 1 they have been studying plant and animal cells, and created a posted to help them review the different organelles found in cells. The 10th graders have been working on writing, evaluating and graphing inequalities in Algebra 1B. In Living Environment 2, they have been studying cell reproduction and a mitosis candy lab to represent the different phases of this process.
Ms. Morgan (Grades 11-12)
In our high school ELA classes, students will create their own podcast. They will plan the production from start to finish, and once completed, we will share them with their peers at Catskill Academy.
Mrs. DeWitt (Grades 4-5)
Mrs. Witt’s fourth and fifth graders are working on learning their multiplication and division facts.
Mrs. Reyome (Grades 6-8)
Mrs. Reyome’s class is working on animal and plant cells in science. To help the students understand the different parts of an animal cell, the class created a poster using different materials for the various organelles.
