Students fill an auditorium at UAlbany for the annual Recipe for Success conference
Questar III students from Sackett Educational Center and the Academy at Rensselaer Educational Center joined 250 students from more than 15 school districts at the University at Albany for the “Recipe for Success” conference on March 19.
The conference brings together students, parents, guidance counselors, transition coordinators and several colleges to inform potential college students on ways to successfully navigate college life. The day offers several workshops in areas including self-advocacy, assistive technology, college resources, and a panel featuring students with disabilities who are currently enrolled in college sharing their experience.
Questar III has sponsored the event for several years as a way to help prepare students in our region to be successful as they begin their higher education.
