185 districts in NYS have been allocated Temporary Emergency Impact Aid Funding totaling $15.9 million for students displaced by natural disasters in 2017-18. Districts had previously reported how many displaced students they served last year. In order to receive their allocated amounts districts must fill out a one-page form and also adjust accounting records for 2017-18 by December 31st. A link to the list of eligible districts, along with allocation amounts, can be found here. SED sent guidance, including the application form, to all eligible districts in August.
