Questar III’s Arts in Education and Exploratory Enrichment (AIE/EE) service provides resources and opportunities for students to experience the arts. These curriculum-enhancing experiences include guest speakers, visits from authors, trips to theater productions and museums, and more.
The new Arts & Enrichment Directory gives educators and artists a singular place to connect and book events.
New this fall, the Arts and Enrichment Directory offers educators an online directory to find artists, speakers and other events to bring to their school or to bring their students to outside of school. The site offers “featured experiences”, an advanced search and an index of available artists. There is also an electronic form on the site for educators to request an artist, sent directly to the BOCES to which they belong.
Artists also benefit from the new directory – by providing appropriate documentation, artists can be listed in the directory, upload photos, describe their program and more.
The site was designed as a collaboration between Capital Region BOCES, Champlain Valley BOCES, HFM BOCES, Questar III, and WSWHE BOCES, and is available for district faculty, staff, and other participants in the AIE/EE service.
