2015-16 Ten-Month Public Placements:
This is a reminder to submit any outstanding STAC forms to SED for students with disabilities educated in the 2015-16 school year, as it is still possible to claim 2016-17 Public High Cost and Private Excess Cost Aid for eligible students. However, any additional aid due for 2016-17 will be paid as a Prior Year Adjustment. Thus, the actual receipt of this aid will be delayed for several years. Failure to complete the entire STAC process for students served in the 2015-16 school year by 6/30/2018 will result in the loss of 2016-17 aid for those students. Please access the DQAPP screen in the STAC On-Line System to view records already entered for the 2015-16 school year.
2016-17 Ten-Month Public Placements:
It is imperative to have STAC’d and verified students educated in the 2016-17 school year in order to receive 2017-18 aid by 6/30/18.
2015-16 Ten-Month Private Placements:
Students in 2015-16 private special education placements should be entered in the STAC On-Line system and also verified on-line no later than 6/30/2018. To determine whether your school district has private placement students already entered in STAC but not verified, please access the link below for the Gold Star Status report for 2015-16 private school placements.
2016-17 Ten-Month Private Placements:
Students in 2016-17 private special education placements should be entered in the STAC On-Line system and also verified on-line no later than 6/30/2018. To determine whether your school district has private placement students already entered in STAC but not verified, please access the following Gold Star Status Report for 2016-17 private school placements. Timely submission of STAC data will result in receipt of aid in 2017-18.
2016-17 Ten-Month Homeless Placements:
Students STAC’d in the 2016-17 school year under Homeless should be entered in the STAC On-Line system and also verified on-line no later than 6/30/2018. Use the ‘DQHOM’ Homeless Eligibility List to see if you students that are eligible to be STAC’d. Note: students listed on the eligibility list are NOT STAC approvals. View the ‘DQAPP’ Approval List to ensure STAC’s are filed and verified.
2014-15 Summer School Placements:
Students educated in the 2014-15 summer for all public, private or other public special education placements should be entered in the STAC On-Line system and also verified on-line no later than 6/30/2018.
