The 2016-17 School Report Card and Fiscal Accountability Supplement are now posted online at http://data.nysed.gov.  Districts should print both the 2016-17 School Report Card & Fiscal Accountability Supplement and include them as part of the required attachments to the Budget Statement. Users should click on the “Districts” tab in the navigation bar to access district data or the “Schools” tab for building level data.  In order to generate the entire School Report Card, users must click the “Check All” button and then click the “Build” button.  We recommend that you print both reports in pdf format.  You may use the 2016-17 School Report Card and Fiscal Supplement Instructions as a guide.

Districts are reminded that the budget statement and all required attachments must also be available upon request, at each school building in the district, the district office, any public or free association library located within the district and on the school district’s internet website, if one exists. Due to the size of these reports, we suggest districts keep one complete set at the district office (each buildings’ information plus the district summary) and a copy of each school building’s report card (see step 4 of the document link above) included with the budget statement in such building.

For more information on the budget statement and required attachments, see Budget Development Guidelines.
