Join us December 11 for a series of workshops on the Next Generation ELA and Math Learning Standards. Presented by Questar III School Improvement Specialists, these workshops will offer targeted information for administrators and teachers of Pre-K through Grade 8 on transitioning to the new standards. Each session is two hours long and costs $50. More information on the standards is available on the SED website.
Administrative Overview and Transition to Next Generation Standards
Participants will be given an overview of the Next Generation ELA and Math Learning Standards from a logistical perspective. How do you have conversations with your staff? How do you evaluate your current curriculum? What is the best way to prepare for the shift to a revised set of standards?
Participants will develop a clear timeline of implementation to be prepared for the shifts in assessments over the next couple of years.
The session is open to all administrative personnel, including district level staff, principals, assistant principals, directors, department chairs and others in leadership roles.
