The Skills USA Chapter at Rensselaer Educational Center elected junior and senior class officers for 2017-2018 this week. Chapter officers are responsible for running meetings, supervising committees, keeping records and representing Skills USA in school and community organizations.
Senior Class President Austain LeDuc was Vice President last year. He says he is striving to see everyone at REC be respectful to one another throughout the year. Vice President Amberleigh Davis says she hopes her fellow students are able to accomplish all the goals they have set this year.
SkillsUSA is a national organization for high school students enrolled in CTE programs. It provides quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development.
