On April 25, component school districts’ boards of education unanimously approved Questar III’s proposed $6.1 million administrative budget for the 2017-2018 school year. This is the only portion of the budget that Questar III’s 22 component school boards vote on each year.
Component boards also voted to fill four BOCES Board of education positions.
BOCES Board Members Joseph Garland (Coxsackie-Athens CSD), John Hill (Hoosic Valley) and Marilyn Noonan (Catskill) were unanimously reelected to three-year terms starting July 1.
Additionally, Mary Daly (Hudson CSD) was unanimously elected to a three-year term starting July 1. She will replace James Keegan, who is retiring after 26 years of BOCES Board service.
